Description: The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) is the responsible agency. The SWRCB's Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SDWSRF) Program is providing state funds for the project. The Donner Summit Public Utility District proposes to drill a test well on USFS land. The purpose is to prospect for water that meets the Safe Drinking Water Standards and is of enough quantity to serve the small community of Big Bend.
