Title
Guru Nanak Singh Temple Water Line Extension
Description
The project will provide potable City of Fairfield drinking water to an existing Sikh temple located in unincorporated Solano County. Existing domestic water from the on-site well has become contaminated and constitutes a public health hazard. A 3" diameter HDPE water line will be constructed within the Rockville Road and/or within City of Fairfield property no closer than two feet from the existing pavement but within the graded roadway. The total length of the water line will be 2,222 feet. The water line will be extended from an existing service interconnection just east of Ledgewood Creek for 1,525 feet along the north side of Rockville Road, then cross under Rockville Road to the south side onto the parcel owned by the Temple. For approximately 80 feet, the pipeline will encased in a steel casing attached to the north side of the existing bridge over Ledgewood Creek.
