Title: Nylander Ranch Levee Repair, Humboldt County, CA
Description: The project is limited to one stream encroachment on Ryan Slough to repair an existing agricultural levee. The repair will occur along a 320-foot length of the levee, and will rebuild the levee to a 9-foot height and the original 50-foot width. The rebuilt will utilize rock rip-rap (670 cubic yards), filter fabric, and course river rock backfill (240 cubic yards) on the slough side to armor the bank from the incoming flows of Freshwater Creek just upstream of eroding levee.
