Document Description
This project would repair an agricultural levee by reinforcing the slough side of the levee with rock. The eroding section of levee is located just downstream of the confluence of Freshwater Creek and Ryan Slough in Humboldt County, CA. The eroding section proposed for repair is approximately 320 feet long, and has eroded approximately 20 feet from its original 'footprint'. All work will take place within the original footprint of the levee, as evidenced by the remains of a wooden wall which formed the original levee face.
