- Description
- The Project will upgrade the City's WWTF and expand capacity to 1.4 million gallons per day, to help accommodate projected growth and to be in compliance with the waste discharge permit requirements. The Project involves construction of an extended aeration activated sludge treatment facility with nitrification/denitrification to provide secondary treatment of wastewater prior to discharging the effluent to percolation/storage basins. The Project will incorporate nitrogen removal to achieve State standards and prevent further degradation of groundwater.
