Document Description
The City of Farmersville proposes to upgrade its wastewater treatment facility (WWTF) and expand the capacity of its WWTF from 1.25 million gallons MGD to 1.4 MGD. To accommodate the expansion, it is anticipated that the City will acquire approximately 17 acres from the adjacent land owner to the north of the existing facility. The proposed project consists of an Aeration Lanes (Extended Aeration) design. The proposed project includes aeration lanes activated sludge process with nitrification/denetrification to provide secondary treatment of the wastewater prior to discharging the effluent to percolation/storage basins.
