- The California Department of Fish and Game is executing Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2012-0285-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, the East Bay Regional Park District. The project is located along a trail that begins on Dutra Road, off of Franklin Canyon Road, and ends at Ferndale Road, off of Alhambra Road, southwest of Martinez in unincorporated Contra Costa County. The project is limited to drainage improvements associated with conversion of an existing firer road to multi-use hiking trail, including replacement of an existing 24-inch culvert with a new 36-inch culvert (with no net increase in culvert length), installation of a 30-foot long, 24-inch culvert with headwall/tailwall and basin, and riparian tree trimming to allow equipment clearance for erosion repair.
