Title: San Leandro Creek Hazardous Tree Management Project
Description: CDFG is executing Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2010-0188-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, for management and removal of hazardous trees along the San Leandro Creek riparian corridor, within an approximately 0.46-acre area. Fifteen trees will be pruned, two native trees (a sycamore and a box elder) will be coppiced, and seventeen blue gum eucalyptus will be removed. Following removal of non-native trees, the banks will be replanted with native species adapted to growing conditions in the project vicinity. The project is located at San Leandro Creek, in the City of San Leandro, County of Alameda, State of CA.
