Humboldt Regional Food Waste Digester
Description
The HWMA is developing a regional food waste anaerobic digester facility that will convert food waste (diverted from the waste stream) into renewable energy and fertilizer. The proposed facility will have an ultimate capacity of 60 tons per day of source separated food waste, fats, oils and grease as well as other industrial organic waste streams.
