Spirit Rock Master Plan Amendment

Description

The project sponsor proposes a Precise Development Plan - Phase 4 to implement the Spirit Rock Mediation Center Master Plan Amendment approved on July 19, 2011, which entailed minor amendments to the Master Plan for the Spirit Rock Mediation Center in the 1988. Following preparation of an Initial Study and adoption of a Negative Declaration, the 1988 Master Plan was approved to establish a development area envelope and provide a framework governing the uses, the intensity of uses, and the development of the site. The subsequently approved 2011 Master Plan Amendment supplemented, and in some cases modified, the 1988 Master Plan and its implementing Precise Development Plans, Phase 1, 2, and 3. The two main goals of the 2011 Master Plan Amendment were intended to accomplish the following, which will be implemented in the Precise Development Plan -4.
