Description
The California Department of Public Health is a responsible agency for this project. The City of Riverside has proposed to install a chlorination station at the site of the Sunnyside Regional Treatment Facility to include an onsite chlorine generation system, 6,000-gallon hypochlorite storage tank, 15-ton capacity salt and brine solution storage tank, and two metering pumps capable of delivering 300 gallons per hour (GPH). The solution will be injected into the effluent line of the Sunnyside RTF for disinfection of the water supplying the Gage Transmission Main.
