Document Description
The California Department of Public Health is a responsible agency for this project. The City of Riverside has proposed to replace two existing gas chlorination stations to onsite hypochlorite generation systems at the Sixth Street Chlorination Station and the Tippecanoe Chlorination Station. Each station includes a 6000-gallon hypochlorite storage tank, a 15-ton capacity salt storage tank, and two metering pumps capable of delivering 300gph of solution each. The chlorine solution will be injected directly into the City's transmission mains.
