Title
Triple M. Ranch Wetland Restoration Project (California Endangered Species Act Safe Harbor Agreement)
Description
The project will result in the creation of approximately 1.18 acres of California tiger salamander breeding habitat and temporary impacts to a total of approximately 24.61 acres during related habitat improvement activities. The Project is expected to result in incidental take of California tiger salamander, which is/are designated as a threatened species under the California Endangered Species Act. The SHA referenced above as issued by DFG authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation. The CA DFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code for the ALBA Triple M Wetlands Restoration Project. The Project will result in impacts to Carneros Creek, an oxbow pond, and associated wetland and riparian habitat within the creek floodplain, which the California Department of Fish and Game ("CDFG") has determined is subject to regulation pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1600 et seq.
