El Dorado High School Practice Gymnasium & District Performing Arts Center

Description

Construct a 600-seat performing arts center (PAC) at EDHS. The project involves reconfiguration of the existing Lot A and Lot B, removal and relocation of existing portable classrooms, and relocation of two tennis courts. The PAC encompasses 18,000 SF and would serve all District students for various events such as drama, musical, band, choir, and speech performances. The parking lot reconfiguration would require relocation of the two northern most tennis courts to the east of the existing tennis courts, thereby connecting Lot A and Lot B, and thus providing a combined total of 499 spaces in Lot A and Lot B. No change to Lot C is required. The project would limit access to Driveway 3 (center driveway) to emergency trucks and buses only and divert traffic to Driveway 1 and Driveway 2 for Lot A and Lot B access.
