San Gabriel River Drop Structure Repair and Maintenance Project

Description

The purpose and need of the Proposed Action is to conduct routine maintenance and repair of the San Gabriel River drop structures 3,4,5,7,8,9, and 10 by removing broken concrete and installing protective overlay concrete. Repair and maintenance of the drop structures would be accomplished in phases. The complete timeframe for repair of all seven drop structures is anticipated to be 7 months (30 days per structure). However, this may be shortened if some repair phases occur simultaneously. Repair of the drop structures would begin after the rainy season in approximately January 2010 and last until August 2010.
