Title: Union Sanitary District Primary Clarifier Nos. 1-4 Rehabilitation Project
Description: The Project will replace clarifier mechanisms within primary clarifiers 1 through 4, including scum baffles, scum pump control, beaches, and bridge walkways. The new mechanisms will improve the setteability of biosolid and the removal of scum to increase the flow throughput of the primary clarifiers and improve the overall reliability and efficiency of the WWTF. The existing precast concrete wall panels and launders will be strengthened and rehabilitated for better seismic protection and to prolong the useful life.
