- DWR proposes the Sacramento Weir Sediment Removal Project for the purpose of removing ~38,600 cy of sediment from the entrance to the weir which DWR operates pursuant to Water Code Section 8361. The excavated sediment will be placed along the landside of the south levee of the Sacramento Bypass.
