Description

Addendum to the Adopted General Plan and associated Environmental Impact Report. A NOD was signed and uploaded to the State Clearing House on March 6, 2023. See the Notice of Determination for the complete project description. Shortly after project approval (on March 9, 2023), State Parks received correspondence from an interested party questioning the accuracy of the length of Sierra View Road through the Park, as described in the planning process. In response to the inquiry, this Addendum provides additional information regarding Sierra View Road. Upon receiving the comment on March 9 stating that the commenter believes the segment was significantly longer than the 3.1 miles stated during the commission meeting and thus included in the approved General Plan, State Parks reexamined the GIS data for Sierra View Road and park boundaries and determined that minor errors occurred during calculations.
