Description

NOTE: Review Per Lead The Master Plan encompasses growth and development of the existing San Marcos campus from the present through 2022. The overall purpose of the Master Plan is to increase the on-campus capacity to accommodate the anticipated growth in student enrollment up to a maximum of 25,000 students through the year 2022. The Master Plan recommends future physical improvements and identifies education programs and services needed to accommodate enrollment of 25,000 at the San Marcos campus. This will be accomplished via: infrastructure improvements; replacement of older, single-story buildingsand inadequate temporary space with new multi-story buildings abd permanent facilities; modernization of the existing buildings to remain; consolidation of instructional space; environmentally sensitive planning; establishment of an Open Space Preseve.
