Mather Airport Master Plan

Description

Note: NOD filed on August 18, 2014 has been retracted. On August 26, 2014, the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors rescinded their August 12, 2014 approval of the project. The proposed project is the Mather Airport (MHR) Master Plan. The Master Plan establishes a program for modifications of existing facilities and development of new facilities and MHR through the year 2035. The Master Plan provides flexible recommendations for facilities and phasing of projects that will accommodate users and tenants. Recognizing uncertainties associated with long-range aviation demand forecasts, two planning activity levels (PALs) were identified to represent future levels of activity at which key airside and landside improvements would be triggered. For the Master Plan, PAL 1 corresponds to near-term (2018) activity and PAL 2 corresponds to long-term (2035) activity forecast. The purpose of the Revised Mather Airport Master Plan is to guide airport development over a 20-year period.
