06-MAD-CR-Madera County, Road 28 Bridge Replacement at Cottonwood Creek

Description

The Project consists of the removal of the existing 22 ft wide by 200 ft long bridge and replacing it with a new reinforced concrete slab bridge that is 35.5 ft wide by 213 ft long at the same location and on the same alignment. Work will occur from the bank. A pile driver and the supporting crane will be used to drive the piles into the ground. Work will be completed when the channel is dry. Interim erosion control measures will be placed during construction, and following construction, disturbed areas will be recontoured and final revegetation implemented.
