The County of Madera and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to replace an existing 1914 bridge on County Road 28 in Madera County to provide greater structural integrity and to meet current safety standards. The bridge is located approximately 4 miles south of the City of Madera, where Road 28 crosses Cottonwood Creek.
