Estrella River Low Water Crossings Repair Project; ED05-217, 218

Description

The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works, County Government Center, Room 207, San Luis Obispo, CA 93408. The project consists of repair of an existing low water crossing over the Estrella River at Airport Road. New reinforced concrete will be overlain on the existing crossing, and the road edges will be keyed into the dry riverbed to prevent undermining of the crossing. Work will occur when the river is dry, and no impacts to the banks or riparian vegetation will occur.
