- The subject property consists of one parcel of land, encompassing ~200.4 acres more or less, commonly referred to as APNs: 329-090-03. The parcel is adjacent to the southwest end of the Barona Reservation. No development of the subject parcel is proposed at this time, although the Tribe is considering use of the property for the possible construction of a water pipeline to San Vicente Reservoir. A groundwater study might be appropriate for a pipeline project, but not for this trust taking for housing purposes. As stated in the application, the Barona Band's primary purpose in seeking this trust taking is to provide land for housing.
