Title: Channel Water Quality Improvement Project
Description: The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2005-0294-R2 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, City of Stockton, Municipal Utilities Department. The City of Stockton proposes to construct a bubble plume destratification system within the Stockton Channel. The destratification system consists of a series of forced air diffuser laterals space approximately 550 feet apart to vertically destratify the length of the Stockton Channel stretching from the east end of McLeod Lake to the I-5 overcrossing.
