Description
The Applicant proposes to divert a total of 49 acre-feet per annum of water, from a Point of Diversion on an unnamed stream tributary to Miners Ravine thence Dry Creek thence Natomas Main Drainage Canal thence Sacramento River in Placer County. From December 31 to March 31 the water would be diverted to storage into an existing offstream reservoir at the diversion rate to exceed 0.2 cubic-feet per second. The purposes of use are stockwatering (for up to 100 head of cattle) and irrigation of 81 acres of pasture and 12 acres of nursery. The place of use is thus 93 acres out of the total Broken Arrow Ranch acreage of 240 acres.
