Southwest Marine Bulkhead Extension

Description

To construct a steel sheet pile and concrete bulkhead approximately 200 lineal feet, then backfill behind the bulkhead to the existing shipyard facility. Construction will require demolishing 130 feet of the wooden portion of Pier 1. Backfiling requires mitigating the loss of 0.70 acres of intertidal habitat at the D St. fill.
