Document Description
To construct a steel sheet pile and concrete bulkhead approximately 200 lineal feet, then backfill behind the bulkhead to the existing adjacent grade at the Southwest Marine shipyard facility. Construction will require demolishing 130 feet of the wooden portion of Pier 1 and backfiling 0.77 acres of intertidal habitat. Mitigation measures have been incorporated into the project to reduce impacts to marine biological resources, water quality, and human health hazards.
