Zone 7 Water Agency - SWP Entitlement Transfer Project

Description

Zone 7 proposes the transfer from belridge Water Storage District, a member unit of KCWA, 2,219 acre feet per annum (afa) of the Table A amount set forth in KCWA's long term water suppy contract with DWR to Zone 7. This would require the execution of amendments to both KCWA's and Zone 7's long term water supply contract with the DWR, increasing Zone 7's Table A amount and decreasing KCWA's Table A amount correspondingly. This transfer would be integrated with Zone 7's existing water supply sources which serve municipal and agricultural uses within its service area, and would be purchased to meet agricultural demands within the South Livermore area.
