- Description
- The Proposed Project consists of a special reorganization of the San Fernando Valley area of the City of Los Angeles. It would result in the formation of a new City as a separate municipal entity within a portion of what is now the City of Los Angeles. If LAFCO and the voters approve the proposed Valley Special Reorganization would no longer be part of the City of Los Angeles. Currently, proposals for special reorganization of the Harbor area and the Hollywood area of the City of Los Angeles are also pending before LAFCO. Environmental documentation for each proposal is being prepared.
