The Proposed Project consists of a special reorganization of the San Fernando Valley area of the City of Los Angeles. It would result in the formation of a new City as a separate municipal entity within a portion of what is now the City of Los Angeles. If LAFCO and the voters approve the propsed Valley Special Reorganization, the area subject to the proposed special reorganization would no longer be part of the City of Los Angeles.
