Title: McClellan Air Force Base/Watt Avenue Redevelopment Plan (Tiered from SCH# 1996122010)
Description: The proposed project is the implementation of the McClellan AFB/Watt Avenue Redevelopment Plan. The Redevelopment Plan was adopted in November 2000, and Section 33492.18 of the Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq. of the California Redevelopment Law allows the final EIR to be prepared up to 18 months after the effective date of the ordinance adopting the redevelopment plan. This EIR is now being prepared to comply with Section 33492.18 and provide a programmatic environmental review of anticipated redevelopment implementation activities such as removing and reconstructing old military buildings and utilities, providing roadway and streetscape improvements, and providing housing assistance.
