Title: Stevens Canyon Road Interim Flood Alleviation Project
Description: The interim project was conceived to provide near-term flooding protection for the 10-year flood event along a stretch of roadway that has experienced flooding and resulting roadway closures. It includes raising the roadway up six feet along its existing alignment. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0596 pursuant to section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Alan Jones/Santa Clara County Department of Roads and Airports.
