Description: The operator proposes to remove contaminated soil from the banks of a concrete lined section of San Leandro Creek at 385, 399, and 400 Preda Street in San Leandro, Alameda County. Approximately 100,000 cubic yards of material will be excavated from 700 linear feet of the creek bank. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0503 pursuant to section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Chris Davenport/Ryland Homes.
