Title: Rancheria CDF Forest Fire Station Replacement Project
Description: The proposed project consists of the acquistion and construction of a standard CDF two-engine forest fire station, including a twelve-person barracks/mess hall, a 3-bay apparatus building, ranger unit facility, a fuel/oil storage building, 2 above-ground gasoline storage tanks, septic system, hose racks maintenance facility, paving and landscaping. The functions of the existing Rancheria CDF forest station would be relocated into the proposed project after completion. The project is necessary because the existing Rancheria CDF forest fire station has deteriorated and no longer meets current public safety codes.
