Garcia Headwaters TMDL Implementation Project
Description
The Department of Fish and Wildlife (Department) is issuing an Agreement for 6 encroachments: 1) and 2) each consisting of replacing a culvert on a Class III watercourse with a new culvert of rock armored fill crossing; 3) replacing a failing culvert on a Class II watercourse; 4) replacing an existing low gradient ford on a Class II watercourse with a rocked ford, and removing perched fill up and downstream of the crossing; 5) replacing an exisitng culvert on a Class III stream with a rock armored fill crossing, and 6) consisting of removing perched fill where a seasonal road is adjacent to a Class I watercourse, and installing rip rap and willow sprigs along the active stream channel.
