Description

The CA Dept. of Fish and Game is executing Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2010-0041-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and game Code to the project Applicant, Don Hofer, Shea Homes for replacement and upgrade of two flood control pump stations on Sand Mound Slough, in the County of Contra Costa; Latitude 37 59'20.6" N, Longitude 121 37'29.76 W. The pumps will remove levee seepage and storm water from the area inboard of the Sand Mound Slough levee, servicing the existing Summer Lakes South subdivision, the proposed Summer Lakes North subdivision, and surrounding properties. The upgrades will elevate the pumps above the projected 100-year flood elevation, provide improved reliability and safety, and provide redundant (backup) pumping capacity.
