Document Description
Lower Hobo and Diamond Crestview Fuel Modification Project would reduce vegetation generally in 100-foot zones within fuel modification zones (FMZs) 16 and 19. 30.56 acres would be treated by hand crews across the two FMZs, and an additional 3.91 acres lying within 25 feet of a 'blue-line' stream would have non-native species removed to minimize erosion. Fuel management would reduce fire line intensity, reduce wildfire rates of spread, and improve occupant safety.
