Document Description
The City's Department of Public Utilities proposes to consolidate the Del Oro-Metropolitan District (Del Oro) and New Horizons Mobile Home Park (NHMHP) water systems with the City of Fresno water system with two connection points. The consolidation of these water systems would allow the community to have access to affordable and reliable sources of safe drinking water. The Project components include the following: • 8,200 linear feet (LF) of 16-inch water main along Olive Avenue from Blythe Avenue to Marks Avenue. • 230 LF of 6-inch water main along Knoll Drive from Olive Avenue to the Del Oro-Metropolitan master meter connection point. • New 6-inch master meter and 6-inch pressure reducing valve (PRV) at Knoll Drive and Olive Avenue (Del Oro connection). • New 4-inch master meter and service line and 4-inch PRV at the connection point with the City system and NHMHP. • Destruction of two (2) existing wells and two (2) tanks, onsite at each system.

The proposed Project is located along W. Olive Avenue from North Blythe and North Marks Avenues. The centroid of the Project site is 36° 45’ 26.68” N, 119° 51’ 28.79” W.
