Document Description
This project is a director’s order emergency contract to repair the HVAC unit on the roof of the District 6 Office for the Traffic Management Center (TMC) facility. The scope of work includes installing a new Carrier 12.5-ton gas/electric unit on the roof curb; reconnecting existing electrical, condensate drain line, supply air, and return air ductwork to the new unit; installing a digital set-back thermostat, economizer to meet airflow requirements, and smoke detector; and patching the roof for the relocated electrical work. Immediate action is required to repair the HVAC unit for the TMC facility to maintain proper temperatures for both the equipment/electrical server and occupants since hours of operation are 24 hours per day.
