Sienna Construction (applicant), on behalf of Spicy Bite Restaurant, LLC (property owner), submitted a Site Plan Review application for a 14,300-square-foot truck repair/overhaul shop with an attached 4,000-square-foot canopy, and a truck storage yard on the remaining acreage. The project site is located on 9 acres of land at 185 Quantico Avenue, Bakersfield, CA 93307, and is zoned M-2 (General Manufacturing) with a land use designation of Service Industrial. An Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) was prepared for the above project. As of November 2, 2023, the City of Bakersfield's Planning Commission motioned to adopt the resolution adopting the MND for Site Plan Review No. 21-0173, finding no significant impacts associated with the construction and operation of the proposed development.
