The approximately 33-acre Project consists of replacing approximately 4.5 miles of 22- to 24-inch diameter pipeline that creates the existing Sly Park Intertie (SPI) with an upgraded 12- to 36-inch cement, mortar-lined pipeline installed with standard interior and exterior protective coatings and a cathodic protection system. Open-cut trenching will occur to access and remove the existing pipeline and install the new pipeline within the existing alignment to the extent feasible.
