Document Description
The proposed project involves the installation of two piezometers at a location in the City of Orange and in a portion of unincorporated North Tustin. Each location would be within paved public streets and would support the Orange County Water District’s (OCWD) continued effort to investigate the regional groundwater conditions. The piezometers would be housed in approximately 12-inch below-ground vaults and the sites would be restored to their original condition following the completion of each installation. Well construction would occur during daytime hours only (between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday through Friday or as allowed by City code) over approximately one month. After construction, OCWD staff would monitor the piezometers approximately 12 times per year.
