Document Description
The projects are limited to the reparation and restoration of flood damage at pedestrian stream crossings on city-owned land. Project 1 is limited to the replacement of eroded and disturbed rock slope protection (RSP) under and around the abutments and wing-walls of a pedestrian bridge. A filled concrete toe will be installed just above the ordinary high-water mark (OHWM) of the stream and RSP will be placed above it. No in-water work is authorized by this Agreement. A single blue elderberry shrub exists at the top of the bank near the Project site. The blue elderberry shrub will not be disturbed, and no shrubs or trees are authorized for removal at this Project site. Project 2 is limited to the removal and replacement of three of four existing culverts at a low water crossing at Blue Gravel Mine Trail. The trail surface will subsequently be resurfaced with asphalt concrete. No tree removal will occur. Project 3 is limited to the extension of a pair of existing culverts to the toe of the slope in which they’ve been placed, and the subsequent repair of the embankment, which has eroded significantly. Earthen material will be placed in the eroded channel to match the existing grade, and RSP will be placed at the pipe connection and at the culvert outlets for energy dissipation. Four native trees (one live oak and three chokecherries) under six inches in diameter at breast height will be removed to accommodate Project activities.
