Document Description
The demolition of a steel trestle bridge & abandoned 30" water pipeline across the Otay River in the Otay Mesa area of San Diego County. The pipeline was replaced in 2001. The bridge also carries an abandoned high-pressure gas line that was replaced by SDG&E in 2017. Since the existing pipelines are no longer in service, the District is removing the trestle bridge and pipelines to address liability concerns.
