Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-SOL-31772-R3), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Red Tail Multifamily Land Development. The Project is limited to: 1) filling a 0.54-acre portion of Laurel Creek using approximately 3,500 cubic yards of fill from a clean on-site or off-site source to level soil for a housing development consisting of 130 apartments, parking, landscaping, and appurtenant structures on an 8.71-acre site; and 2) creation of 0.35 acres of wetland habitat in an onsite bioretention basin. The Project will result in 23,397 square feet (0.54 acres) and 665 linear feet of permanent impacts to Laurel Creek and associated wetland and riparian habitat. The Project will contribute funding to the Solano Land Trust equivalent to the purchase of 0.25 acres of vernal pool establishment 404 (Phase III) credits at Elsie Gridley Mitigation Bank.
