The County of Santa Clara is the CEQA lead agency for preparation of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the County of Santa Clara 6th Cycle Housing Element Update (HEU), Stanford Community Plan Update, and associated rezonings (collectively, the "project"). The project approved on October 17, 2023 included the HEU, Stanford Community Plan, and related General Plan amendments, which are aimed at meeting the County's required RHNA of 3,125 housing units, including three housing sites on the Stanford campus.
