Document Description
The purpose of this project is to implement the requirements of Caltrans 2012 National Pollution Discharge Elimination System Permit Attachment IV and V and to meet the requirements of Cease and Decease Order, Order No. R2-2019-0007, issued by the Water Board. The project proposes to provide Full Trash Capture Control Compliance Units to meet the Department’s annual Compliance Unit goal by installing 13 trash capture devices to meet the San Francisco Bay Region’s specific requirements

This project is exempt because there would not be any significant impacts to environmental resources. There is a low potential for impacting state listed species and little to no potential on impacting historical resources. Additionally, the project aims to reduce stormwater pollution of the highway system by installing trash captures. This project further would not add to the capacity or amount of vehicles on the highway.
