Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to the Provisions of Title 14 of the California Administrative Code, Section 15301 (Existing Facilities) because it is an existing facility, which provides for interior alterations involving such things as interior partitions, plumbing, and electrical conveyances. The proposed renovations of the existing structure involve negligible or no expansion of the former use. No exceptions listed under Section 15300.2 apply. There is no reasonable possibility that the project would have a significant effect on the environment.
