Document Description
Sixty-nine damaged culverts will be replaced with new corrugated metal pipes of the same sized diameters (8-24 inches). Pipes may be increased to 24-inch diameters to improve drainage at the site. The work will consist of saw cutting the existing asphalt pavement, trenching and excavating the roadway and native soil, removing the damaged culverts, placing sand bedding at the bottom of the trenches, installing new corrugated metal pipe culverts, backfilling and compacting with native soil, and resurfacing the pavement with hot mix asphalt.
